Warranties do not cover any chips, stains, or scratches from user error OR cracking due to shifts in the slab/moving concrete. Epoxy is a rigid substance and can crack when the slab underneath cracks or shifts.
Proper care of the floor is important. Clean all chemical spills with a neutral detergent like dawn soapy water mixture immediately or within 30 minutes to avoid any issues with your floor.
South Coast Epoxy reserves the right to adjust warranty coverage at their discretion based on intended use of surface. For example: a shop where heavy machinery and forklifts are driven will have a less inclusive warranty than a retail space where only foot traffic is expected. Any adjustments will be written into the proposals for each customer.
